This book is for everyone, not just those directly affected by autism. I have been around many autistic kids at an equine therapy program my horse works for and this book has helped me to improve my communication with the participants.

He has informed me, given me insights and understanding, and hope for ways that I can help each of my small group of students to find their passions, their strengths, and their unique abilities. I was so excited when I first heard about this book! I called my mom and told her that I wanted it for Christmas. Tyler is an amazing author! Anyone who wants to learn more about Autism from a personal perspective instead of from a doctor's perspective, needs to read this book. Tyler took his own life story, and his own personal experiences and put them down on paper. From someone who myself has a medical diagnosis thatI face every single day, this is the best way to learn about a diagnosis, is by someone who has experienced it themselves. Doctor's can only tell you what they have learned in textbooks and classrooms, but Tyler tells his story about living his daily life with Autism and that is the best way for someone who does not have it themselves to learn the truth and the facts about what a person who faces it head on, on a daily basis. Thanks Tyler for sharing your story with the world!

I thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse into Tyler's mind. He recounts childhood experiences, what other kids said about his actions and his reactions to those others. What a great kid! I wish I knew him.
